How to make your gym official on Valleur
Step-by-step for Australian gym owners: what you need to apply (business name, ABN, work email, sites), how review works, and what official gyms get.
Your gym may already be on Valleur. Members add the gyms they train at, so there's a good chance yours is there with a growing list of members and a leaderboard running. Making it official lets members know the gym page is genuinely run by you. It puts your logo and website in front of everyone who trains there, and gives your team a few simple tools to manage it.
Applying takes a few minutes in the app. This is the full process.
What you need before you apply
Have these ready:
- Your business name and ABN. We check the ABN against the public Australian Business Register.
- A work email address for the business.
- Your role, either owner or manager.
- The name and address of each site, if you run more than one location.
You'll also need the Valleur app on an iPhone and a Valleur account.
Step 1: Open the application in the app
There are two ways in. From Find a gym, tap "Apply to make your gym official". Or open your gym's page and tap "Make it official".
Step 2: Add your business and your sites
Enter your business details, then add each site with its name, suburb and state or territory.
If members have already added your gym, use the same name and suburb. When you're approved, that existing gym becomes official and its members stay where they are. Nobody has to re-join and nobody loses their place on the boards.
Step 3: Submit and wait for review
The Valleur team reviews every application. We check that the business and ABN are real and that you're connected to them. Nothing goes public until the application is approved, and you'll see the result in the app.
What an official gym gets
Members see an Official badge on your gym page, your logo on every site, and a link to your website. Official gyms are also listed first when people browse gyms in their state.
Behind the scenes, owners can manage every site under the brand: change the logo, set each site's website link, create new invite codes and add managers. Managers look after a single site, including its invite code and website link. Everyone on the team can see member counts per site, how many members show their Strength Score, and how many website visits Valleur has sent you in the last 30 days. Our guide to gym owner tools on Valleur covers each of these in more detail.
What your team can never see
Official gym staff see counts and the same boards members see. They never see a member's workouts, body weight, check-ins, or anyone who isn't sharing with the gym. Members care about this, and it means you're not holding health data you don't need.
Getting members on board after you're approved
Put your invite code at the front desk and in your new member welcome email. Mention crews and the monthly challenge in a social post, or with a sign near the water fountain. When the month ends, congratulate the winning crew (with their permission). Our crews and monthly challenge playbook has more ideas, and your gym on Valleur explains what members see.

Frequently asked questions
How long does it take to apply?
The application itself takes a few minutes in the app. The Valleur team then reviews it, and you'll see the result in the app.
What if my gym is already on Valleur?
Use the same name and suburb when you apply. Once approved, the existing gym becomes official and all of its members stay.
Can I add more than one location?
Yes. Add each site during the application. Owners manage every site under the brand, and you can add a manager for each individual site.
Do I need an ABN?
Yes. Official gyms need a valid Australian Business Number, which we check against the public Australian Business Register.
