Gym owner tools on Valleur: managers, invite codes, website visits and member privacy

What owners and managers of an official gym can do on Valleur: roles, invite codes, logo and website link, member and visit counts, and member privacy.

Once your gym is official on Valleur, everything you need to run it is on your gym's Manage screen in the app. This guide covers who on your team can do what, how to use each tool, and how member privacy is protected. If you haven't applied yet, start with how to make your gym official on Valleur.

Owners and managers

There are two roles.

Owners look after the whole business, which Valleur calls the brand, across every site. They can change the logo shown on every site, set each site's website link, create new invite codes for any site, and add managers.

Managers look after one site. They can create a new invite code for that site and set its website link.

Everyone on the team can see member counts and website visits for the sites they look after.

Invite codes

Every gym has an invite code members can use to join it in the app. Put it on the front desk and on posters, in your welcome email and member communications, and in any social posts about crews or the monthly challenge.

If a code ends up somewhere you don't want it, create a new one. The old code stops working for new members, and everyone who already joined stays.

Your logo appears on the gym page for every site, along with your website link. Each time a member opens that link, it counts as a visit from Valleur, and you can see how many visits Valleur sent you in the last 30 days. The link is tagged, so these visits also show up as coming from Valleur in your own website analytics.

Member counts and Strength Score

For each site you'll see how many members have joined it on Valleur, and how many choose to show their Strength Score on the gym board. Check these month to month to see how many of your members use the app with your gym. Our crews and monthly challenge playbook has ideas for growing both.

What staff can't see

Gym staff see counts and the same boards any member sees. They never see a member's workouts or training history, their body weight or weekly check-ins, or anyone who hasn't chosen to show themselves at the gym.

You can tell members this with confidence. It's how Valleur is built, not just a policy, and members' privacy choices stay theirs. Your gym on Valleur explains what members see and share.

Personal trainers at your gym

Trainers who coach your members use Valleur's coaching tools separately. A client connects to their trainer with the trainer's code and chooses what the trainer can see and change. Trainers coach on the web at Valleur Coach. For more, see how to manage personal training clients online.

Frequently asked questions

Can I have more than one manager?

Owners can add managers for each site. Each manager looks after their own site's invite code and website link.

What happens to members if I change the invite code?

Existing members stay in your gym. Only the old code stops working for new members.

Can gym owners see what members lift?

No. Owners and managers see counts and the public gym boards, never individual workouts, body weight or check-ins.

Where do I find the Manage screen?

Open your gym's page in the Valleur app. Owners and managers of an official gym will see the option to manage it there.
